RECONNECT WITH JOY

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the course?
Reconnect with Joy is an eight week guided journey, with one core module released each week. The pace is designed to feel spacious and supportive, allowing time for reflection and integration rather than rushing through content.

How much time will I need each week?
Most participants spend between one and three hours per week with the material, depending on how deeply they wish to engage. All practices are designed to be flexible, so you can move through the course in a way that feels realistic and nourishing for your life.

Do I need experience with yoga or meditation?
Not at all. Everything in this course is guided in a gentle and accessible way, and no prior experience is needed. The practices are designed to support beginners while still offering depth for those who already have an existing practice.

What if I can’t attend the live calls?
All live sessions are recorded and shared inside the course space, so you can watch them in your own time if you cannot attend live. You will still receive the full benefit of the teachings and reflections even if you join asynchronously.

Will I have ongoing access?
Yes. You will have ongoing access to all course materials, including future updates. This allows you to revisit the practices and reflections whenever you feel called to return to them. You can also join any future live rounds of the eight-week programme.

Is there a community element?
Yes. You will be invited into a private, supportive online community where you can share reflections, ask questions and connect with others walking a similar path. Participation is always optional, and you are welcome to engage as much or as little as feels right for you.

Will I be expected to share on live calls?
No. Sharing is always optional. The live sessions are held as gentle, respectful spaces, and you are never required to speak or share anything personal unless you genuinely want to. Many people choose simply to listen and reflect, which is completely welcome.

When are the live group calls held?
The live group calls will take place on Wednesdays in the late afternoon or early evening (UK time). Exact times will be confirmed in advance so you can plan ahead, and all sessions will be recorded and shared inside the course space in case you are unable to attend live.

Is this course trauma-informed?
Yes. The programme has been created with a strong awareness of nervous system sensitivity and emotional safety. The practices are invitational rather than intense, and you are always encouraged to move at your own pace and honour your own boundaries.

What if strong emotions come up during the course?
Meaningful inner work can sometimes bring deeper emotions to the surface. If this happens, you are always invited to slow down, take space and meet yourself with kindness. You are never expected to push through anything that feels overwhelming, and you are encouraged to seek additional support if you feel you need it.

Is this a replacement for therapy?
No. This course is not a substitute for therapy, counselling or medical care. It is a self-development and educational experience that can sit alongside personal therapy, but it is not designed to replace professional mental health support.

What if I need extra support?
Your well-being is always the priority. If you find that strong emotions arise and you feel you need more support, you are warmly encouraged to reach out to a trusted professional such as a therapist, counsellor or healthcare provider.
You are also always welcome to go at your own pace within the course, revisiting materials slowly and taking space whenever needed.

What if I fall behind?
There is no falling behind here. The course is designed to be spacious and self-paced, and you will have ongoing access to all materials. You are free to move through the journey in a way that honours your own timing.

What is the refund policy?
Due to the digital nature of the course and the immediate access to all materials, all purchases are final and refunds are not offered. Please take your time reading the course information and FAQs before enrolling, and feel free to reach out with any questions so you can make a clear and confident decision.

Who is this course not suitable for?
This course may not be the right fit if you are looking for a fast paced coaching programme, intensive group processing, or a substitute for therapy or mental health support. It is designed for those who are seeking a gentle, reflective and self-guided inner journey.

How do I know if this is right for me?
If you feel a quiet resonance as you read about the course, that often tells you a lot. You do not need to feel completely certain or have everything figured out. Many people join simply because something within them recognises that it is time for a softer, more aligned way of living.
